It's been raining all day today so far. It's finally letting up a little at about noon. The contingency plan is in place today as the Streets and Parks teams head underground (in the subway and into stations). Some sports camps have been cancelled for the morning because of the rain. Summer Fun Week continues as it's indoors!

STORY
A story from this morning's worship session. ATR Camp Director, David Bishop (from Greeenville, SC) shared about the Bronx Camp. He said that the same chilren that were there last year and the years before had been waiting all morning for the team to arrive, and once they saw them coming from the Train station down the street, they ran and greeted the team with hugs and excitement.
David said that "many of the children have been at the camp the past 3 years as well as this year. They've waited all Summer for us to come."
Three people said YES to Jesus at that camp in the Bronx Monday. Two children and a 70 year old woman watching in on the children.
Evening Update:
It continued to rain all day, so some camps unfortunately had to be cancelled. Some camps had a few kids and played in the rain. Streets and Parks teams went into the subway, and Summer Fun Week VBS continued as normal as they take place indoors.
